Introduction

Node Logic L.L.C-FZ ("The Company", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of its clients, partners, and website visitors. This Privacy Policy describes how The Company collects, processes, stores, and safeguards Personal Data in connection with the operation of node-logic.com and the delivery of our software development, AI workflow, system integration, and software publishing services.

This Policy is issued in compliance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (the "PDPL") and its implementing regulations, together with all other applicable data protection laws of the United Arab Emirates.

1. Data Collection

We collect and process Personal Data and operational data strictly necessary for the execution of our contracted services, including custom software development and AI workflow optimization. The categories of data we may collect include:

  • Identification and contact data (name, business email, telephone, organization, role).
  • Commercial and contractual data (engagement scope, invoices, payment references).
  • Electronically Stored Information ("ESI"), including database records, configuration files, logs, and metadata generated in the course of service delivery.
  • Technical data collected automatically through the website (IP address, device information, browser type, access timestamps).

2. Lawful Basis and Purpose of Processing

The Company processes Personal Data only where a lawful basis exists under the PDPL, including: (i) the performance of a contract; (ii) compliance with a legal or regulatory obligation; (iii) the legitimate interests of The Company; and (iv) the explicit consent of the Data Subject, where required.

Processing is undertaken for the following purposes:

  • Evaluation of inquiries and pre-contractual discussions.
  • Delivery, support, and improvement of contracted technical services.
  • Invoicing, accounting, audit, and tax compliance.
  • Security monitoring, fraud prevention, and protection of our systems and clients' systems.
  • Compliance with applicable UAE laws and regulations.

3. Compliance with UAE Data Protection Law

The Company complies with all applicable UAE data protection laws, including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, to ensure that Personal Data is processed lawfully, fairly, transparently, and securely. Appropriate technical and organisational measures are maintained to safeguard data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

4. Data Retention

Financial, transactional, and contractual records related to software development, AI workflow services, and software publishing are retained for a minimum period of seven (7) years from the end of the relevant financial year, in compliance with UAE Corporate Tax and Value Added Tax (VAT) recordkeeping requirements.

Personal Data not subject to statutory retention is retained only for so long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes set out in this Policy, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.

5. Data Sharing and Sub-Processors

The Company does not sell Personal Data. Data may be disclosed to:

  • Sub-processors strictly necessary for service delivery (such as cloud infrastructure, communications, and analytics providers), bound by appropriate contractual safeguards.
  • Professional advisors, including legal, audit, and accounting advisors, under obligations of confidentiality.
  • Competent authorities where disclosure is required by law or court order.

6. Cross-Border Transfers

Where Personal Data is transferred outside the United Arab Emirates, such transfers are conducted in accordance with the PDPL, including the application of adequate safeguards or the requirement of explicit consent where applicable.

7. Security

The Company maintains administrative, technical, and physical safeguards aligned with industry standards, including encryption in transit, access controls, audit logging, and segregation of environments, to protect Personal Data from unauthorised processing and accidental loss.

8. Client and Data Subject Rights

In accordance with UAE legislation, Data Subjects have the right to:

  • Access the Personal Data held about them.
  • Request rectification of inaccurate or incomplete Personal Data.
  • Request the blocking, restriction, or erasure of Personal Data where permitted by law.
  • Object to or withdraw consent for specific processing activities, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
  • Lodge a complaint with the competent UAE data protection authority.
